The 13th of May 2018 was a special day for parishoners of Rzeszow. Not only did they enter the recently-repainted church for the first time but also were visited by Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Przemysl – Warsaw.
Prior to the Pontifical Divine Liturgy, parish representatives, according to tradition, greeted Archbishop with bread and salt.
The Liturgy was co-celebrated by Rev. Bogdan Kryk, the pastor, Rev. Pawel Pietrusiak, Ph.D. and deacon Wlodzimierz Kaczmar.
After the Liturgy, the faithful watched a short performance given by young parishoners who attend extra Ukrainian language classes. The performance was prepared by the teacher of Ukrainian – Mrs Wasylyna Starosta.
At the end, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz blessed the pastor’s home.
