Last week, on the Sunday of the Paralytic, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Przemysl – Warsaw visited the Ecumenical Retirement and Nursing Home in Pralkowce, Poland.
The Divine Liturgy was co-celebrated by Rev. Dymitr Leszko and Rev. Dariusz Wowk.
In his sermon, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz discussed concepts of suffering and faith. Also, he expressed gratitude to both religious sisters and lay workers who serve in the facility. He appreciated care and attention they give to the residents.
The Liturgy was attended by religious sisters from Rome, Slovakia and Ukraine.
At the end, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz gave the Anointing of the Sick sacrament to all present.
