Pastoral Visit in Warsaw

On 16-17th of February 2019 Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz, the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Przemysl – Warsaw made a pastoral visit to the Blessed Nicholas Czarnecki parish in Warsaw.
Festivities began on the 16th of February, however the Pontifical Divine Liturgy was held the next day, on the 17th.
Apart from Archbishop Popowicz, the Liturgy was celebrated by Rev. Bogdan Kruba, the local pastor, Rev. Mitred Stefan Batruch, the Dean of Lublin – Warsaw, Rev. Volodymyr Raczkowski, the pastor of Warszawa – Praga and Zabki, Rev. Roman Hladij, the pastor of Minsk Mazowiecki and Otwock. Obviously, the event gathered a lot of parishoners.
After the Liturgy, Archbishop Popowicz blessed the newly-built ikonostas (funded by parishoners’ donations) and in his final speech thanked the present for their devotion to parish life.
