Traditionally, prior to Vatra in Zdynia event (on Friday, 20th July 2018) the faithful gathered on Mt. Jawor to pray to the Virign Mary. The prayers began with a Moleben (service of supplication to the Virgin Mary) served by Rev. Arkadiusz Trochanowski, the pastor of the Walcz parish. Later, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz together with Most Rev. Wlodzimierz Juszczak and other priests from Poland and Slovakia celebrated the Pontifical Divine Liturgy. Subsequently, they formed a procession to the well where they blessed water.
At the end, Abp. Eugeniusz Popowicz thanked all who participated in festivities, Rev. Jaroslaw Czuchta, who organised everything, and especially the young faithful who took part in a pilgrimage from Krynica, Poland to Wysowa,Poland.
