On the 20th of January, the Ukrainian People’s Home in Przemysl hosted a traditional annual Kutia (Christmas meeting) and Carol Contest. Abp Eugeniusz Popowicz commenced the event by reading a fragment about the birth of Jesus from the Bible and subsequently blessed prosfora (holy bread). Later, the audience could admire Christmas carols performed by students of the Metropolitan Greek Catholic Seminary from Lublin. Finally, the audience was presented with various groups which performed Christmas carols and scenes.
