On Thursday, 4th January 2018, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz, the Archbishop and Metropolitan of Przemysl – Warsaw held a Christmas meeting. The event was attended by Most Rev. Jan Martyniak, the Archbishop emeritus, priests from Przemysl and Sanok Deaneries, workers of Curia, religious sisters and representatives of various social and cultural organizations.
The meeting began with a prayer and Christmas carols. Subsequently, Rev. Mitred Bogdan Stepan read a fragment of Gospel about the birth of Jesus Christ. Next, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz delivered a sermon and Christmas greetings. Finally, he approached each and every guest to share Prosphora and exchange Christmas greetings.
At the end, Most Rev. Eugeniusz Popowicz stated that Rev. Volodymyr Danyliv was celebrating the 25th anniversary of ordination to priesthood, and to mark this occassion the Archbishop presented him with an anniversary diploma.
